About

Who am I?

I thrive in cross-functional teams and love researching human behaviours to build things that actually serve people. I’m a life-long accessibility advocate with a strong background in community building.

I’ve been a user-centric designer for several years, but my journey started in Interior Design, where I focused on creating accessible washrooms and spaces. After an injury compelled me to leave that field, I found my way to Brand Design through UX/UI. Along the way, I taught myself to code, and the moment I came across the term “UX Designer,” I knew I’d found my direction. It let me combine my interests in psychology and design for the first time, and finally use my design talents to build better experiences. Delightful!

In my downtime, I like wandering around the forest identifying new plants. I’m lucky to live near a few forests, so I roam more than I probably care to admit. I also read, eat, and practise my jokes on my cat. She’s a tough audience, so it keeps me sharp.

how i work

I’m an advocate for evidence-based design, and I love exploring human nature. I get genuinely excited about working with cross-functional teams to tackle tough problems creatively, and about the power of design to bring about real change.

My dream role is working on a cross-functional, remote team building better experiences for underserved communities.
